This was a commission for a friend of mine. It is made from birch limbs taken off a tree that fell in 2009. I spent approximately 20 hours constructing the bench and it weighs well over 100 lbs. This bench is perfect for patios and gardens and the slotted seat is designed so padding can be added for additional comfort.

I am a craftsman I work with everything from woodworking, blacksmithing, to one off fabrication. I have been doing woodworking as a hobby for over 10 years and steel fabrication for 4. Predominantly I prefer to work with sustainable materials whenever possible.

    I was so pleased with every aspect of working with Eric. He was very responsive and easy to work with throughout the whole process. I wanted the bookcase made out of non-formaldehyde materials, and he made a particular effort to research and find them. I had sent him a photo of what I wanted and he was able to create it to just the specifications I asked for. He kept me updated on his progress, even sending photos of the shelf in various stages of building and painting. And the finished shelf is fantastic. It's exactly what I wanted and looks beautiful in the room. I couldn't be more pleased with my whole experience.

    I am very happy with the final project - exactly what I was hoping for! They look well made also. I just got them home and I'm soaking 1 of them in oil to start the conditioning which I also found online. The value of these wood butter stick molds is really priceless because I haven't found them anywhere else.
