Wine Cabinet

This solid cherry cabinet-on-stand was inspired by James Krenov, a master furniture maker. The case and stand is made of solid cherry with pear wood veneers door panels. The back of the cabinet is veneered as well, so it can stand alone and be viewed from all sides. Two hand cut dovetalied drawers organize the interior space. It's a small piece (4 ft high by 8 inches deep by 14 inches wide), perfect for small spaces and comes apart, though it's easy to move as a unit. I envision it as a small wine/liquor cabinet though it would work very well in a dressing room to hold jewelry or notions of any sort.
