Bathroom Vanity Mirrors
This was an interesting project where I had the opportunity to create the cabinet finish, the matching mirrors and some of the other details in the bathroom. The mirrors were made with a floral leather I hand colored to compliment the other colors and details in the room. The alder wood that frames the leather is the identical finish as the cabinets( one of the benefits of having the same craftsman handle all the finishes for a specific project). The liner that trims the inside is hand colored silk. Using an artisan to create the custom mirrors had great value on many levels….the size is precisely what is required, the finishes compliment the cabinets beautifully, the pieces blend and pull all the details of the room together and most importantly the materials and details of the mirrors are reflective of the homeowners style, taste and preferences.

Often my projects develop into creating multiple pieces for one environment, whether it be residential or commercial. I have been doing custom work for over 30 years and although my studio is in Southern California my creations have gone into homes throughout the US.
