These eastern red cedar chairs were made for a client who purchased a table, these were a consignment project. The images do not show the final design, I built another set of spiders that are 4 inches longer and had feet cut into the four corners of the X patterned spider supports. The slabs are 2 in thick, each chair weighs in at about 50 to 60 lbs, two of the chairs are captains chairs and the finish is a Danish Oil Finish, the same as the table.

I am a working truck farmer and custom furniture builder/designer. I work in local wood that is harvested from surrounding forest. I don't harvest live trees, unless its a construction zone and the trees would have been destroyed.
I mill my own lumber, some with an Alaskan Chain Saw mill in the field, the rest on a friends larger mill.
