For Sale - "Dark Timber" - Krenovian Brandy And/Or Whiskey Cabinet
Handcrafted wall cabinet, created specifically for your special stash of Scotch whiskey and French brandy. The case is 26 ¼" tall X 16" wide X 7" deep, constructed of old growth American black walnut. The door frame and panel are made of matched timbers. The door panel is a very unique book match painting that creates the image of a dark spruce or fir tree deep in the forest. This cut of grain and curl structure is very, very rare. The rich walnut colors will continue to soften and glow as the years go by. The finish is an amber French polish and wax. Inside are two fixed shelves with an accessory drawer with a book matched face from the same flitch as the door panel. The cabinet is detailed with a handmade friction latch and East Indian Rosewood handles. Custom brass knife hinges, the French cleat attachment points and the latch contain the only metal hardware in this stunning heirloom.

Not only did they create an amazing replica paddle for my antique butter churn, they were able to advise me in which wood would be best for the application and kept mindful that this needed to be a food-safe end product. They were communicative during the entire process, even sending photos along the way. When I received my paddle, I was surprised to find that they'd sent two! Now I can go on churning butter forever!
