Decorative Vessel "Eagle Feathers"
This sculptural vessel was carved from a gourd. Wood dyes were applied to the end of the feathers by air-brush. The non-carved surface was covered with handmade paper and wood-burned to create a stained-glass appearance. A turquoise cabochon was inset into the center of the carving.

Each piece is fashioned using hand and power tools, such as chisels, gouges, rasps, rotary bits and routers. My artistic style is unique and distinctive, and my technique has been refined over many years of wood and gourd carving.
