We just received our table last evening. The craftsmanship is superb and we love the table. We would recommend this craftsman highly to anyone and will use him for another project that we are working on. Shipping was a little slow , but the end result was excellent, and the shipping personnel were professional and courteous and careful. Overall extremely satisfied.

It was my first custom order and from the beginning I had a good vibes about it. Jonathan provided detailed description and progress in making.. I am very happy with overall experience. Final product - walnut table base - is simply gorgeous. Thank you!

Jonathan is a master. The desk he made for us is absolutely stunning. We are thrilled beyond words with the quality and finish. I expect to have this desk for years to come. Delivery was seamless. After endless hours searching in stores and online for a sofa table, I couldn't find anything that fit my style and the size I needed. That is until I found Jonathan of Antikea. He didn't build me the table I had in mind; he created something 100x better! This was my first time using CustomMade and Jonathan walked me through the entire process, providing tailored design and wood suggestions based on photos I sent him. I received the table only a few weeks after his initial proposal and it is nothing short of perfection! The high-quality woods, precise joinery, and special details Jonathan added to the breadboard ends and legs have made this an heirloom piece that my family will enjoy for years!

I HIGHLY recommend Jonathan - he was excellent to work with in every way, and you definitely will not be disappointed with his craftsmanship. I asked Jonathan to reproduce an Ethan Allen cherry wood sofa table. I had purchased the coffee and end table, but the sofa table got discontinued before I was able to order it. All I had to do was email hm a picture of the end table and the dimensions I wanted. Jonathan was able to replicate the sofa table perfectly! If you looked at Jonathan's table and my other two, you would think they had all been purchased together. The workmanship is EXCELLENT, and the price was actually slightly less than what I would have had to pay at Ethan Allen. Thank you Jonathan!

Jonathan was easy to work with and readily accommodated a change in the stain requested by us later in the project. The quality of his workmanship is spectacular. We would definitely use him again.

I purchased his "tipi" table in cherry wood. It's great and I would definitely use him again. The woodwork is perfect and the joining hardware (it comes apart in two pieces for shipping or storage) is all metal-on-metal. He installed two captive threaded sleeves, rather than screws-into-wood, which is higher quality than I was expecting. Definitely an A-plus.

We asked Jonathan Walkey to create an oak dining table to accomodate bench seating based on his excellent reviews. We feel fortunate that he accepted our request. The magnificent piece is the center of our home with family and guests gathered round it enjoying the inclusive comfort of the corner it occupies. Jonathan's creation exceeded our expectations! His craftsmanship and integrity make him and his creations a one-of-a-kind experience. Thank, Jonathan!

This artist/carpenter is a pleasure to deal with. He does amazing work. The coffee table he made for us weighs a ton. He strives to make everything he does perfect.

Jonathan was freaking awesome! I couldn't find matching end tables for a beautiful mid century modern coffee table that I purchased awhile back, so I started looking for wood workers who could make a couple of them for me. I came across Custommade while surfing the web after a month of looking without success. I discussed the project with several other gentlemen on the site without any luck as they all had unreasonable asking prices for the work. I mean i expected to pay more than $1k for 2 custom tables but $3k to $6k was ridiculous! Then I came across Jonathan who was not only enthusiastic about the project from the start but also asked a very reasonable $1400 for the pair. We was very knowledgeable and gave some great suggestions throughout the process. I admit I was pretty picky and very specific in what I was looking for but he took it in stride and created 2 beautiful pieces that will be in my family for a long time to come. The workmanship is exceptional. I chose to drive down to San Diego from Santa Cruz to pick them up myself and meet the man who had done the work. Jonathan was very nice and I am glad I chose him to do the job. Great work great guy! Do not hesitate to have him do whatever you need done, you will not be disappointed!

Jonathan was extremely easy to work with and he had beautiful suggestions for our lift-top coffee table He provided progress pics of the table and communication was great. Also it was completed on time. I would absolutely work with Jonathan again.

We are very picky when it comes to furniture. We have purchased a few pieces of Stickley furniture. Stickley is very high quality but we really wanted something of high quality but designed just for us. Jonathan was the artist! We communicated by email. He was very timely with his responses and very detailed with his descriptions. I kept thinking to myself that he may get frustrated with us because we went back and forth on email at least 25 times. He was a perfect gentleman. Although we knew what we wanted, Jonathan gave us choices and gentle guidance so we could keep our vision in tact. Our table has Seven inlays of maple leafs and many more rectangular inlays at the bottom of the legs. What I find so subtle yet unique is that the inlays are not just copied from the original. All of the leafs, when you look closely, are different. This would never be seen in a factory piece, even with Stickley. We are extremely happy. The price was very competitive.

We have just received the coffee table that Jonathan Walkey made for us. It is beautiful...exactly what we requested and perfect for our space! We really appreciate the way Jonathan kept us posted on his progress and the pictures he sent as he worked on the table. We are grateful for his excellent craftsmanship, reasonable price, honest opinions and prompt delivery. If we need any more pieces, we'd love to work with him in the future. Peggy and Alan Frank
