Custom commissioned family coffee table. Made from one piece of antique walnut stored in a barn for 50+ years I cut slabs and book-matched the top and lower shelves. The legs were turned on a lathe and turned to 45 degrees to show the hand carved initials, on for each of the 4 family members, on their faces. Finished in hand-rubbed danish oil. The top also reveals a third slide-out shelf with drop down legs to add surface area during parties.
