Being a builder I'm interested in weight and mass and their relationships. For an art show I created a bench where the hardest and heaviest part, the concrete, moved from the base to the cushion role. Adding some whimsey I did a vacuum-bag casting to encourage people to sit.

My name is Evan and I own a custom furniture and small-run cabinet company. I have built furniture, doors, cabinets, wine cellars, and sculpture.

My ability is to solve problems, big or small. I can make your dreams come true.

I have an MFA in design and am a licensed Oregon contractor. You deal with me from start to finish, so I guarantee a quality job because I am the only one to blame if it is not right.

I have a passion for building objects and a fun sense of humor to get us though the job. Let's dream together.

Evan did an amazing job with our Japanese cabinet! Solid workmanship, attention to detail, and communication all stellar. We are so happy to have the cabinet! I highly recommend Evan Holt!
