Each piece is made from Eastern pine wood, with hand fit mortise and tenon joinery, dowels and some good honest hand planing. I am not the renown "Roy Underhill", but I enjoy the process of hand working wood. The stands are painted with old fashioned milk paint and then sealed with polyurethane.
