Plant Stands Reclaimed Wood
Each piece is made from Eastern pine wood, with hand fit mortise and tenon joinery, dowels and some good honest hand planing. I am not the renown "Roy Underhill", but I enjoy the process of hand working wood. The stands are painted with old fashioned milk paint and then sealed with polyurethane. A one man shop, the work stems from the basis of the arts and crafts style of craftsmanship using mortise, tenons and dowels and extends out to include unusual organic shapes sometimes with natural edges, as well as the familiar, clean designs of the ages.
