The Lincoln Lantern is a wonderful homage to the lighting of the turn of the century. The hand blown glass shade is 10 x 14 inches (large) and treated to create a crackled antique surface. We can also make it in clear or a color of your choosing. We use natural hand braided manilla rope and hand applied bronze patina. The interior consists of three candelabra lights to emulate candles. A wonderful showcase for any kitchen, foyer, dining area and so much more. All Parts are UL Listed. All work is proudly made by us in our Rhode Island studio. Providence Art Glass & Lighting
Since opening in 2006 with a focus in functional homewares, Providence Art Glass has made custom lighting their bread and butter. Designs are inspired by organic forms and textures, such as river rocks, spider webs, hoodoos, and the infinite movements of water. Now operating out of a Rhode Island mill building, owner Terence Dubreuil and his team of artisans meticulously create each luminaire entirely by hand.
Providence Art Glass specializes in made-to-order lighting that is tailored to their clients’ specific needs. Each piece of glass is hand blown without the use of molds, ensuring every light is a unique work of art.
I have now received my blue Gumball light and am totally delighted with it. It is simply beautiful and will be a focal point in the room once hung. It has been a pleasure dealing with Rebecca and I hope to come back for more soon!
Provident Art Glass made us their Staccato Branch Globe Chandelier in Indigo to our specification and it looks phenomenal. Rebecca and Terence are absolute rock stars who deserve 5 stars on all fronts. They truly listened to what we wanted this fixture to look like and they delivered. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a well-made American product and a genuinely satisfying experience. We look forward to our next project with them.
Rebecca was a delight to work with and her artistic talent is superb. Our lights looked exactly like the picture and she was flexible in matching our fixture colors. We hope to get the lights installed this week, and once up, I'll update the review with how they function/look with the light shining through them. So far, so good!
Just finally opened the pendant lights that were shipped to me in FL because I am moving here from Washington, DC. Beyond my expectations and better than the photos Rebecca sent to me. This was a great project and I am so happy that I found Custom Made and Rebecca. She was fabulous to work with. She listened to my ideas and did exactly as I asked. The finished project is fabulous!!!!!!!!!
