End Grain Cutting Boards
These are some end grain cutting boards that I made for some of my family members. They are made from walnut, oak, and one of them has cherry stripes. An end grain cutting board, as compared to an edge grain cutting board, is much easier on the your knives and also is more durable because wood fibers wont be dislodged over time. I made them fairly large and thick in order to last a long time. One i treated with mineral oil, and the other with salad bowl finish.
