Cowl Neck Hoodie

$100

This hoodie is a replica of the one worn by Milburn in the movie "Prometheus." In addition to a picture from the movie, my buyer was able to find a picture of a discontinued commercial shirt he felt was the closest to the one from the movie. I used both pictures to make the shirt. It is made from high-quality cotton-polyester blend sweatshirt fleece and trimmed with custom satin bias tape. The commercial shirt showed all the interior hood seams and the neckline seams finished with matching satin bias tape and pockets with satin welts set in the side seams. All seams are sewn with a very sturdy, 4-thread overlock stitch. After studying the pictures, my buyer provided measurements of a shirt he liked the fit of. I located the patches worn by the Prometheus crew members, he bought one and sent it to me and the creation was off and running. The cowl neck is non-standard and required resizing and reshaping the shirt neckline to accommodate the hood's large diameter. And inseam welt pockets are unusual. It took some research and several dry runs before I was satisfied with those. Don't want a replica? This is a very stylish shirt that can be made up in a large number of fabrics, from casual to dressy. Try a dress hoodie. You'll be surprised how great it looks and feels!
