Custom Cherry Bookcase

Matthew made a beautiful bench and another piece of furniture for us. They were both beautiful and just what we wanted.

We are extremely happy with the cherry writing desk, which has an understated elegance that cannot be matched with anything we saw out in the furniture market for this price point. Matthew's workmanship and attention to details (maple trim, turned legs, stained knobs) gives the desk incredible beauty. We had to wait longer than expected but I think the wait was well worth it! (And not unusual for upscale furniture). Matthew is a great guy to work with. If we had a need, we would contact Matthew!

Matthew made a wonderful table that people have enjoyed discussing when visiting my home. The joinery and woodwork looks wonderful and is incredibly smooth (for lack of a better word). Shipping was also carefully done. I would not hesitate to buy from this maker again.

Matthew Sharratt was great to work with. He's an accomplished woodworker...a true craftsman. He was also flexible about my specific requests, and willing to go with some of the more quirky aspects of my design. The table he built has already wowed some of my friends. Altogether a very positive experience from start to finish.

I'm a cabinetmaker who was running short on time for a project, so I hired Matthew to make a door and drawer front last miniute. He did exceptional work and delivered the project within the time frame. Would use him again no problem.
