We don't make our boards just to make things to sell, we make our boards because smaller pieces of beautiful wood should not just end up in the wood-stove. Each cutting board is an exclusive reflection of the scrap wood we have on hand at the time - arranged in a pleasing pattern you will be proud to display in your home. Our focus on furniture happened many years ago (25+) as a result of some left-over lumber, the need for a bench by the backdoor, and a frugal resourceful nature that told us to give it a try. The bench turned out beautiful (we still use it every day), the experiment turned to a hobby, the hobby to an obsession, the obsession to a journey… We design and build custom furniture on commission. Our shop specializes in made to order custom furniture specifically for individual clients.

Amy Gless made it all easy for us from the proposed idea to the final project. She sent photos of each step along the way. I made a booklet out of them and included it with the gift.
