Walnut Dining Collection
Beautiful solid walnut dining collection; designed to client's exacting specifications. The process for this particular job was unique in that we built a prototype dining chair of their design out of ash first and allowed the family to use it for a week with two unique seat options/designs. After a week, the final seat was chosen and other design modifications incorporated to make this set exclusively theirs through their participation. It was a very fun job.

Our focus on furniture happened many years ago (25+) as a result of some left-over lumber, the need for a bench by the backdoor, and a frugal resourceful nature that told us to give it a try. The bench turned out beautiful (we still use it every day), the experiment turned to a hobby, the hobby to an obsession, the obsession to a journey… We design and build custom furniture on commission. Our shop specializes in made to order custom furniture specifically for individual clients.

The communication between Amy and I was very smoothly and she got exactly the idea what I wanted. She also gave me options/suggestions for color and type of wood.
