A beautiful 5 piece dining set in Ash. Trestle table and bench have mortise and tenon joinery wedged and pinned with cherry. The frame and panel storage benches are also mortise and tenon construction and highlight stunning figured ash panels. Beautiful front and back and configurable in left or right hand arrangements, you can place this set anywhere. Our focus on furniture happened many years ago (25+) as a result of some left-over lumber, the need for a bench by the backdoor, and a frugal resourceful nature that told us to give it a try. The bench turned out beautiful (we still use it every day), the experiment turned to a hobby, the hobby to an obsession, the obsession to a journey… We design and build custom furniture on commission. Our shop specializes in made to order custom furniture specifically for individual clients.

May 8, 2015Glessboards created a Modern Farmhouse Extension Table for me. I requested some additional detail on the legs, which Amy was happy to oblige. Overall this was a very good experience both with Glessboards and Custom Made. I would have initially preferred to see more communication about estimated time lines and progress made on the project. However, this may have simply been my own tenacity for details. I highly recommend Amy Gless for her quality of work. We are very happy with the finished product.
