Solid Walnut Bench 150" long. Two identical mating 75" benches connect in the center to create one long bench. Beautiful seating below a large picture window overlooking the lake. This bench was a pleasure to build for Paul. Details: Walnut with Danish Oil finish Integral Mortise and Tenon construction 18" deep at the seat (with 3.25" cantilever overhang at the back to accommodate heating register clearance in home) 15" tall to accept custom made seat cushion Legs, braces, and slats are all 1.5" thick

Our focus on furniture happened many years ago (25+) as a result of some left-over lumber, the need for a bench by the backdoor, and a frugal resourceful nature that told us to give it a try. The bench turned out beautiful (we still use it every day), the experiment turned to a hobby, the hobby to an obsession, the obsession to a journey… We design and build custom furniture on commission. Our shop specializes in made to order custom furniture specifically for individual clients.

    Amy produced a fantastic piece of furniture from a very crude drawing. The final product is great. Solid woods and great details. Kept me up-to-date about progress and was clear about everything!

    I just delivered the chopping board made for my brother-in-law's 50th birthday. The entire family could not get over how beautiful it is. Amy Gless made it all easy for us from the proposed idea to the final project. She sent photos of each step along the way. I made a booklet out of them and included it with the gift. It was a 50th birthday, so we wanted the gift to be special. I could not be happier. I hope to have one made by Amy for myself in the future and highly recommend her work!!!

    I used Amy and Nick (Glessboards) for a custom credenza for my dining room and the piece they delivered was excellent. The entire process was smooth and Amy kept me updated the entire process. She was very communicative and responsive plus she helped resolve some minor detail work that I hadn't provided at the outset. Their shop is about two hours away so I had them deliver my piece and they were on time and really helpful getting it into the house. I would recommend using Amy and Nick for any custom build project.
