Our focus on furniture happened many years ago (25+) as a result of some left-over lumber, the need for a bench by the backdoor, and a frugal resourceful nature that told us to give it a try. The bench turned out beautiful (we still use it every day), the experiment turned to a hobby, the hobby to an obsession, the obsession to a journey… We design and build custom furniture on commission. Our shop specializes in made to order custom furniture specifically for individual clients.

The entire process was smooth and Amy kept me updated the entire process. She was very communicative and responsive plus she helped resolve some minor detail work that I hadn't provided at the outset. Their shop is about two hours away so I had them deliver my piece and they were on time and really helpful getting it into the house. I would recommend using Amy and Nick for any custom build project.

For Farmhouse Extension Dining Table5.0We are delighted with the beautiful table and chairs we ordered from Glessboards. Amy was extremely easy to work with, and her wood products are beautiful. We had originally ordered just one table but decided to get a set of chairs to go with it. We are very happy with the products -- extremely well made and attractive. They also were finished more than a month earlier than the original estimate. Their other products are beautiful as well--they can make tables, chairs, and more from lovely wood to one's precise specifications. They gave us some excellent choices in terms of wood type and finish. We had looked in standard furniture stores, but couldn't find there precisely what we had wanted (a smaller yet very attractive simple wooden table for an open kitchen / hallway / sittting area). Going for custom made is perfect, and I highly recommend Amy Gless and Glessboards!
