Modern Elm And Walnut Dining Table
At 10' long, 42" wide and 1.5" thick this modern table makes an immediate impression. It has a subtle boat shape along its length and backcut angles at its ends. The 3" x 3" elm base tilts out five degrees through its pinned bridle joint joinery and is set at a ten degree lean at the ends. Its beefy, heavy and breathtaking. Available as a custom commission in a variety of wood species and custom sizes.

Our focus on furniture happened many years ago (25+) as a result of some left-over lumber, the need for a bench by the backdoor, and a frugal resourceful nature that told us to give it a try. The bench turned out beautiful (we still use it every day), the experiment turned to a hobby, the hobby to an obsession, the obsession to a journey… We design and build custom furniture on commission. Our shop specializes in made to order custom furniture specifically for individual clients.

We went to visit Amy in her shop to see some finished products and develop a comfort level with her craftsmanship. Her facility was first rate as were the many pieces of finished product she was able to show that she had made for her family. We reviewed the project, she made several recommended changes and we accepted all of them and she saved us money also.
