Printer Stand With Storage
This printer stand solved a specific problem for out client. He had a stand up desk that used bracing below and he needed a stand for his printer that would sit below the desk and straddle the bracing. This stand holds his brinter at a height that is convenient for him, the drawer will hold a ream of paper for refills and the whole setup works with his stand up desk. Our focus on furniture happened many years ago (25+) as a result of some left-over lumber, the need for a bench by the backdoor, and a frugal resourceful nature that told us to give it a try. The bench turned out beautiful (we still use it every day), the experiment turned to a hobby, the hobby to an obsession, the obsession to a journey… We design and build custom furniture on commission. Our shop specializes in made to order custom furniture specifically for individual clients.

Aug 11, 2013This summer I was looking for the side tables to coordinate with existing furniture in my living room. I landed on Glessboard’s page. The pieces displayed exemplified fine craftsmanship and attention to detail. One particular photo showed a pair of walnut end tables. I liked the size and scale but wanted to modify the design a bit. Amy was open to reworking the table to meet my needs, prompt in response to any questions and professional throughout the entire process. The end result is a pair of beautiful walnut end tables that now include a small drawer to house coasters, remote controls or a couple DVD’s. These pieces are well built with fine walnut and extremely solid. I purchased 3/8” beveled glass to protect but still enjoy the tops ensuring they last a lifetime.

We went to visit Amy in her shop to see some finished products and develop a comfort level with her craftsmanship. Her facility was first rate as were the many pieces of finished product she was able to show that she had made for her family. We reviewed the project, she made several recommended changes and we accepted all of them and she saved us money also. When we went to pick up the finished products her work exceeded our expectations with the incredible detail. We would recommend her work to anyone!
