Solid Walnut Buffet With Matching Walnut Extension Table

First, my husband and I love the buffet Amy and Nick built for us. IT is exactly what we hoped it would be. Amy really worked with me to make sure the designs for the buffet were perfect. This project took a while to complete because I took my time to be sure of every decision; Amy and Nick let me take that time without pressuring me to move more quickly. When it came to their work, they responded quickly and thoroughly and the piece was completed in a timely manner. There was very, very teeny oversight in the end product, which Amy and Nick remedied promptly. I could not be more pleased with my experience, and I would absolutely recommend anyone work with Glessboards. We would work with them again for any future projects. I had initial concerns about working with a business so many states away from my own; if that is your concern, I recommend you take a chance on Glessboards. Amy and Nick made the process easy and my concerns never materialized. The piece itself is beautifully constructed and absolutely feels like it will withstand the test of time. It was a delight working with Amy on a very large desk for my home office. I was looking for a desk that would feel like a built-in once installed but which would have the solid wood character that distinguishes Amy's work. Amy worked with my sketch of my office and designed a 7.5' x 11' L-shaped desk that fit around an awkwardly-placed windowsill, could be easily carried to my second-floor office, and that could be broken down into smaller desks if I moved houses in the future. Amy is highly responsive, really clear, and my desk is beautiful. Shipping was terrific and reflected attention-to-detail that is evident in her furniture. I will be ordering more furniture from her.

The communication between Amy and I was very smoothly and she got exactly the idea what I wanted. She also gave me options/suggestions for color and type of wood. I am very very happy that I have found her for this project. I think I am going use her services/expertise again!

We can't say enough about how pleased we are with the experience of working with Amy Gless of Glessboards and with the finished project they delivered. We wanted a king size bed with storage drawers under the platform and storage in the headboard. Our bedroom has windows on two sides, closets on the third and the entry door and ensuite bathroom on the fourth. The bed could only go on a window wall. Critical to our requirements was the headboard had to be of a height to fit under our bedroom windows. We shopped on-line and in many local furniture stores. Many beds had storage, but always their headboards blocked our windows. Amy worked hard, through several rounds of design, to meet our requirements, making suggestions based on her experience and accepting our ideas too. Also important was matching the finish of our existing bedroom furniture. Amy prepared two rounds of samples until we found a practically identical finish. Amy was upfront about timing (5 to 6 months) and pricing. She delivered and assembled the bed right at the 6 month mark, at the contracted price, which was very comparable to the beds we had seen at furniture stores, except the bed Amy built for us met our design requirements. We would not hesitate to contract with Glessboards and Amy Gless in the future.

I just received my dining room set earlier this week, and I am thrilled with it. It isn't just furniture; it's a work of art! Amy did an amazing job, and she was a pleasure to work with. Ordering custom furniture was a first with me, but I saw a picture of this set and knew it was what I wanted after years of looking. Amy was so patient and helpful--she answered all of my questions, and made suggestions and recommendations when I needed some help deciding what wood to use. She walked me through the process and kept me fully updated. I couldn't have had a better experience, and will not hesitate to work with her again for future furniture needs.
