California King Platform Bed With Storage Galore

We are delighted with the beautiful table and chairs we ordered from Glessboards. Amy was extremely easy to work with, and her wood products are beautiful. We had originally ordered just one table but decided to get a set of chairs to go with it. We are very happy with the products -- extremely well made and attractive. They also were finished more than a month earlier than the original estimate. Their other products are beautiful as well--they can make tables, chairs, and more from lovely wood to one's precise specifications. They gave us some excellent choices in terms of wood type and finish. We had looked in standard furniture stores, but couldn't find there precisely what we had wanted (a smaller yet very attractive simple wooden table for an open kitchen / hallway / sittting area). Going for custom made is perfect, and I highly recommend Amy Gless and Glessboards!

Glessboards was an absolute pleasure to work with. I had a slightly unusual request for a walnut coffee table and two end tables which they happily discussed and drew up for me. Everything went seamlessly, was priced fairly and definitely exceeded my expectations. I really appreciated the photos that were sent during the process! This definitely won't be the only Glessboards purchase I make.

We can't say enough about how pleased we are with the experience of working with Amy Gless of Glessboards and with the finished project they delivered. We wanted a king size bed with storage drawers under the platform and storage in the headboard. Our bedroom has windows on two sides, closets on the third and the entry door and ensuite bathroom on the fourth. The bed could only go on a window wall. Critical to our requirements was the headboard had to be of a height to fit under our bedroom windows. We shopped on-line and in many local furniture stores. Many beds had storage, but always their headboards blocked our windows. Amy worked hard, through several rounds of design, to meet our requirements, making suggestions based on her experience and accepting our ideas too. Also important was matching the finish of our existing bedroom furniture. Amy prepared two rounds of samples until we found a practically identical finish. Amy was upfront about timing (5 to 6 months) and pricing. She delivered and assembled the bed right at the 6 month mark, at the contracted price, which was very comparable to the beds we had seen at furniture stores, except the bed Amy built for us met our design requirements. We would not hesitate to contract with Glessboards and Amy Gless in the future.
