This wonderful bed boasts ample storage: Four (4) very large lower drawers are 38" wide, 32" long x 6.75" deep The headboard has a padded leather insert and the nightstands are 24" wide with floating drawer cabinets that stick out 16", but have 12" drawers to allow for electrical access behind the drawers to accomodate electronics on the nightstand and within the drawers. Our focus on furniture happened many years ago (25+) as a result of some left-over lumber, the need for a bench by the backdoor, and a frugal resourceful nature that told us to give it a try. The bench turned out beautiful (we still use it every day), the experiment turned to a hobby, the hobby to an obsession, the obsession to a journey… We design and build custom furniture on commission. Our shop specializes in made to order custom furniture specifically for individual clients.

We had looked in standard furniture stores, but couldn't find there precisely what we had wanted (a smaller yet very attractive simple wooden table for an open kitchen / hallway / sittting area).
