Beautiful solid walnut dining table is 10' long and 4' wide at the apex of the subtly curved top. Double curved stretchers below assure a rigid yet elegant table. In Situ photos show addition of optional extension leaves for an overall extended length of 160".

Our focus on furniture happened many years ago (25+) as a result of some left-over lumber, the need for a bench by the backdoor, and a frugal resourceful nature that told us to give it a try. The bench turned out beautiful (we still use it every day), the experiment turned to a hobby, the hobby to an obsession, the obsession to a journey… We design and build custom furniture on commission. Our shop specializes in made to order custom furniture specifically for individual clients.

We went to visit Amy in her shop to see some finished products and develop a comfort level with her craftsmanship. Her facility was first rate as were the many pieces of finished product she was able to show that she had made for her family. I had a lot of demands for this table. It needed to fit into a small NY apartment and expand to seat 8. I needed sufficient leg room (space from the apron to the floor) to use it as a desk and cross my legs.
It also needed to blend with my sort-of-vintage decor.
The final product is GORGEOUS and does everything I need it to. The expansion/engineering part of the table is smooth and elegant.
Amy was patient and sent me numerous finish samples as I decided on the final color of the table. Communication throughout the process was timely and photos were provided in various stages of development.
I would definitely work with Amy again if I ever need another custom piece.
