Pieces of Trees is a father & son custom woodworking shop. We specialize in turning and furniture. Dennis has been working with wood since childhood learning a great deal from his father. After retiring from the military, Dennis decided to pursue a degree in Fine Arts-Woodworking. He received his BFA in 1995 from Tennessee Technological University. Since then he has been producing one of a kind custom pieces for clients nationwide. Kevin began wood working in high school, and his passion was reignited when he began helping his father in the shop. In 2004, Kevin joined his father in woodworking as an apprentice. Their combined styles and visions of the projects unite to create beautiful yet functional custom pieces.

Dennis was quick to respond once I posted my project. His knowledge of what would work in terms of size was helpful so I would have a product that lasted. He kept me in the loop the entire time and presented me with options when appropriate. Additionally, he was very competitive with his rates that others quoted more for. As soon as he was finished-a matter of a few days, he ship the cutting board and provided me with a tracking number. The board is exactly what i was looking for. I HIGHLY recommend them!

I was extremely satisfied with my experience working with Dennis and "Pieces of Trees". -He was always professional -The product was high quality and exactly what I had described and was hoping for -I asked if he could expedite the timeline so it would arrive in time for a birthday present and he was able to meet that deadline, while maintaining the quality of the product -He offered good advice and suggestion, but listened to what I wanted -His quote/estimate was right on target and a much better value than other makers -Dennis kept me updated throughout the process and posted pictures on a regular basis -I would absolutely recommend Dennis and work with him again. Thank you, Dennis!
