Modern outdoor stair treads are made to order using durable tropical hardwood species such as Ipe and Sapele/Mahogany (pictured). Eliminate or replace pressure treated wood with natural hardwood steps that will add character to your entryway or deck. These steps are finished and sealed with professional marine grade products. Elias Furniture is a wood-design-studio in rural Northwestern New Jersey established by Matthew Elias. We focus on creating generational designs that are made to last with a timeless, modern style.
Matthew is a self taught woodworker who started Elias Furniture initially providing interior designers, contractors, and the general public with high quality custom furniture. In addition, our small batch collection that we offer continues to grow. We primarily use locally sourced hardwoods and tend to use traditional joinery methods that are both simple and strong.
As a small business in the greater NYC region we source our materials from local retailers and often use sustainable locally harvested woods. We offer regional delivery and ship nationally.
