Jan 10, 2013I've been burning wood for several decades to heat my home and have tried many woodstove ash shovels before now, all with too short handles. When I asked Ben to create a shovel for me, long enough to reach the back of my large woodstove, I had no idea that he was going to make the most perfect tool I've ever had for this purpose. His workmanship is good and solid and he understood what I wanted simply by giving him a quick idea. Also, he has a good eye for decorative work for his metal pieces. This shovel will last a lifetime so it was a bargain to me.

Feb 6, 2013Ben was great to work with, I'm very happy with what he built for me and would look him up again in the future. For years I've been using an old typewriter as a computer monitor stand. Recently I purchased a new TV (which can also serve double duty as a monitor) which was just a little too large/expensive to perch on the typewriter. Ben worked with me to take my rough idea through to a perfect solution to my problem. Thanks Ben!

Jul 11, 2016This was a great project from start to finish. I was nervous to start because 1. I've never "designed" furniture before and 2. This process occurred entirely via the Custom Made communication tools. Ben was amazing. He made suggestions, communicated with lots of photos and made adjustments based on my feedback. I wanted a table that would stand up to day to day use, little kids and a giant puppy and not only did I get what I wanted, thanks to Ben, I got a beautiful piece of furniture. The furniture was a great value and much much nicer than anything I could purchase from a large retailer.

The stand I had designed was built exactly to my specifications. Ben even offered some great ideas to improve the project along the way. Can't be happier!
