A fire tool set consisting of a poker, a shovel with a hand forged head and a broom that has been hand tied by a local broom maker. The set hangs from a hand forged steel stand.

Thayerhouse Forge & Studio
Artist blacksmith working primarily in mild steel. Most of what I produce is functional with some of my work being sculptural and functions simply as art. I am a one man shop and have been a full time artist since June of 2002.

Feb 21, 2013Doug very communicative during this whole process. As soon as I gave him some direction, he turned around an almost finished product in a day or so. Very impressed! He did great work and made some minor tweaks to his original prototype. I've been using my firepoker on a weekly basis and its just perfect! Go with Doug! He's the best!
