Ryan Messier Woodworking
Ryan Messier is a professionally trained furniture and cabinetmaker holding a degree from the North Bennet Street School. I also taught furnituremaking at North Bennet for over ten years. My specialty is the design and construction of custom hardwood furniture using traditional techniques.
Along with traditional furniture making my shop offers many additional millwork services, including custom cabinetry, chairmaking, wood carving, veneering, architectural millwork, CNC routing and finishing.
The woodworking shop is located just over the Bourne bridge on beautiful Cape Cod. So if you are ever in the area feel free to stop in!

Jun 22, 2016Ryan is truly a master craftsman. The vanity he designed - to my small specifications - is beautiful. I am so happy with the piece. It fits perfectly and looks terrific. My husband and I drove up to Ryan's shop on the Cape and picked up the vanity. Added bonus - visiting Cape Cod again! Jun 28, 2013I'm so pleased with my project that Ryan completed! He took my idea and really brought it to life; the flat file table came out even better than I had ever hoped. Ryan was incredibly professional and careful with every detail, checked in with me often with project updates or to check on how I wanted a particular part executed, and he even was able to personally deliver my table to my studio. Every time someone walks into my space now, that table is the first thing they say and I always get so many compliments on it! Finding Ryan to complete my project was definitely the right choice. Beyond happy with his amazing craftsmanship!
