Folk Art Whale
My shop is now located on Cape Cod so I wanted to make something with local significance. This is a folk art style whale that I carved in white pine. It can be scaled to any size and painted whatever color you like.

Ryan Messier is a professionally trained furniture and cabinetmaker holding a degree from the North Bennet Street School. I also taught furnituremaking at North Bennet for over ten years. My specialty is the design and construction of custom hardwood furniture using traditional techniques.
Along with traditional furniture making my shop offers many additional millwork services, including custom cabinetry, chairmaking, wood carving, veneering, architectural millwork, CNC routing and finishing.
The woodworking shop is located just over the Bourne bridge on beautiful Cape Cod. So if you are ever in the area feel free to stop in!

For Maple Dressing Table5.0Ryan is truly a master craftsman. The vanity he designed - to my small specifications - is beautiful. I am so happy with the piece. It fits perfectly and looks terrific.
