"Glowing Grain" Liquor Cabinet

$4,000

This cabinet was deigned and built for an auction to raise money for veterans returning to college. The Honduran Mahogany was donated by a generous wood collector. The cabinet stands 36" high and 30" wide and features an LED back lit veneer panel, 2 inconspicuous glass storage shelves, and bottle storage. The top was finished with a durable epoxy coating and the case was sprayed with a satin sheen lacquer.

Woodworking wasn't always a passion of mine. It took me roughly twelve years to figure it out. After enduring nine years in the Marine Corps I was Honorably Discharged and struggling to figure out my next move. While I sorted things out I earned a BS in Technical Management and built cabinetry and furniture on the side. After a couple years of teaching myself the trade I thought I should pursue a legitimate education in the trade. So I enrolled in the Cabinet and Furniture Design Program at Palomar College and studied for two years. After my schooling I earned my Contractors license and started building!

Fidelis Woodworks is a custom cabinetry and woodworking company, with all products handcrafted by Ross Habecker. The shop is located in Yuma, Arizona, a small town in the desert southwest. I specialize in quality custom cabinetry and architectural woodworking.
