At this point in time, the full sum total of the initial deposit will be no longer refundable. 5) When I've completed the painting to my satisfaction, I will send you a digital image for your approval. The client contacted me in regards to creating a unique painting for her young daughter Eve, who had been named after the Eve mentioned in the book of Genesis, in the Holy Bible. She desired a painting which would reveal the character of Eve as kind, strong and beautiful, serving possibly as a godly reminder and perhaps a positive influence upon the development of her own daughter's character. The task excited me. There was quite a bit of open and fascinating communication between us, as we worked out the details of the portrayal. It was finalized that Eve would be shown walking down a path, carrying a sheaf of firewood. Along beside her would be her own little daughter, holding a lamb and sharing a warm moment with her mother. I agreed to give the daughter of Eve their daughter's coloring and a few photos of the daughter were exchanged. I searched for models for use in bringing to life both Eve and the daughter's side by side glances and poses and ended up piecing them together from several various models, until I had what I needed! I also researched flowers and plants and found images of the included animals. After a very fruitful engagement, the family was very happy with the completed results! Please Note: This was a very time consuming project, inclusive of 2 people and very specific requests. The price given reflects charges for the complexity of the project.

Artist Kathi Dugan began her art career as a Decorative Finish/Mural company, "Wonders On Walls", specializing in customized art and faux finishes on walls, furniture, cabinets and floor cloths. Because "Wonders On Walls" used almost exclusively water based products, it was natural for Kathi to choose acrylic as her medium.
Since that time, Kathi has extended her business to include commissioned portraits and commissioned illustrations. Past portraits have included those of children and adults, set in traditional, realistic or whimsical, fantasy settings. Kathi has also been requested for pet and house portraits, as well as a illustrations of favorite scenic spots and visual concepts. Because Kathi uses photos as her references, physical distance is not a hindrance to job performance. If you have a question about her prices, please do not hesitate to contact her. The price of each piece is as subjective as the piece itself, usually based upon size, detail and difficulty of the request. Although the prices given are realistic ballpark figures, communication is a great way to reach an agreement viable for all parties.
All of Kathi Dugan's artwork is available as Fine Art Prints.
