I am currently only taking commissions for furniture and sculpture pieces. I may still do local railing work(within 4 hours from Kansas City).

Custom metal work specializing in architectural metals, furniture and sculpture.

Kyle was amazing to work with and helped us think through the complexities of the custom design even from just photos and a distance. Our railing is perfect and exactly what we were looking for!

I had a desire for a custom fire pit and I was very pleased with the end result. Throughout the process we went over design sketches then I was shown how things were coming together during the building process to ensure it was being built how I envisioned. I can easily recommend this designer.

I first approached CustomMade with my project request on December 8, 2017. I liked the look of Kyle Harrity's Horizontal Slat Railings, and from the onset of the project, Kyle was fully attuned to the concept I was seeking for a finished product. Kyle was timely with his responses to my questions and concerns, of which there were many. He was also exceedingly patient with me as I agonized over decision-making and fretted about the accuracy of the measurements I'd made. The project consisted of three parts: the horizontal slat railings, and two longer handrails going up the stairs. The main hurdle was the extra shipping costs for the handrails. The solution to the problem was to enlist Noah F. Boyle Cabinets, Elizabethtown, PA, 844-602-6953, to make the extra handrails and complete the installation. The project installation was completed today. The railings are distinctfully beautiful and match perfectly, despite being manufactured by two different artisans. Furthermore, the installation went smoothly because of the fine craftsmanship of both Kyle Harrity and the Boyle family. The biggest challenge remained to be the shipping, which was a significant part of the cost, as well as the cause of some delay due to a lack of communication. But then again, as a modern consumer I may just be spoiled by the up-to-date tracking information provided by the major (more expensive) shipping companies. Most importantly, I have exactly what I wanted at a price I could afford. Thank you, Kyle! Barbara Matthews
