Bench
Made of American black walnut, this dining table bench combines a traditional knife edge top with a mid-century sculpted base which takes ques from the style of Sam Maloof. The bench utilizes traditional joinery featuring pegged mortise and tenons and wedged through tenons for incredible strength. While the bench can be customized to size and wood species, this exact bench is 72" long with a 16" deep top; it is 18 1/2" tall.

Bart Thrasher completed his architectural education from the University of Texas at Arlington which lead him to residential construction and design. After twenty years, he's found his passion in the design and building of custom cabinetry and furniture. His attention and absolute celebration of detail has led him to concentrating on the intimate spaces and tactile pieces which surround our everyday lives. With an aesthetic ranging from the traditional craftsman style, mid-century modern and contemporary designs, Thrasher Works enjoys exploring what makes design speak to the individual.
