These unique lamps were hand turned from Hackberry that grew right here at BlackWater. I came across a couple logs that I had cut a few years ago and dragged them out of the woods. Most of the wood was "too far gone" to save, but two or three small sections were so beautifully spalted I had to do something with them! These two lamps are listed separately as well so you can see a few more pictures of each. The lamps are 5 inches in diameter at the base, 15" high to the neck, and overall 27" high to the top of the harp. They have a hand rubbed oil finish, at least 3 coats, to bring out the natural beauty of the wood. I put 3 felt pads on the bottom to protect your furniture. Look for more great items from Blackwater Workshops! Most of the wood I use has grown right here at home - Cherry, Ash, Walnut, Hackberry, Cedar, and more. Birdhouses, bird feeders, boxes, shelves, and whatever other crazy ideas pop into my head! Enjoy!

For Tissue box coverIt was great working with Mark on this project -- he got the exact wood I asked for, communicated throughout the project, completed it quickly and shipped it right away. It looks great, and I am thinking about how we can work together on another project soon!!
