Art Quilt - Hawaiian Floral
This Art Quilt was made of beautiful color-washed cotton batik fabrics for a lady who was raised in Hawaii. I used a machine applique process and did a small stipple pattern for the quilting.

I needed a bed cover that I could find NOwhere in stores or on the web, so (remembering another great experience with a CustomMade provider earlier this year) thought I'd see if anyone would be willing to take on an over-sized comforter, very soft and in a caramel color. I am so glad Mary responded. She offered suggestions of fabric, quilting patterns, etc., and kept in close communication. We love the final product!

While the photos/suggestions she made were great, it was having the finished pillow in my hands today which is the truest testimony to Mary's artistic talent. The pillow is absolutely gorgeous in all its detail and finishing. I am certain that the friend for whom I ordered this gift will love it as much as I do. Thanks, Mary!
