Pistol Grip Style Cane
Every person needs a cane that is comfortable for them. Years ago an very arthritic women came to commission a stick . Her hands were so stiff that she couldn't grip a regular stick. I designed a piece similar to the one pictured. She could grip it nicely and extend her index finger down the length to more precisely point where she wanted. I also included trigger/hook so when her hand was particularly sore or stiff, she could put one or two fingers under it to lift the cane. She loved it. This piece was made from ebony, holly, and silver.
