Pineapple Etched Glass Kitchen Cabinet Carved Doors
These are custom glass doors for a set of four kitchen cabinet doors 11" x 22" x 1/8" thick. Price reflects per panel. . After the pineapple design was sketched, cleaned up, and finalized, it was then developed to be sandblasted onto the glass windows. The stencils were made and laid out on the glass panes. . Before sandblasting a plan was devised in what sequential order the vinyl mask needed to be peeled to create the effects of a 3d object on a flat surface. . Once they went to the sandblasting stage, each section was etched doing the deepest sections first. Shading is done and interest is added using the contrast of the carved or shaded areas against the clear. . After they were all blasted, they were cleaned from the abbrassive and then re-cleaned before delivery. In this case the glass was packed and handed over to the cabinet maker. Depending on the job though, I am able to offer installation when it's feasible.
