Scribble Decorative Art Glass Multi Layered Stacked Sandblasted Images

For an online contest I submitted a glass entry in hopes it would stand out above the rest. Unfortunately, I have to accept the final judgements of the site, but I still think mine was unique. It was also the only glass etched entry. . The guidelines were to take the S M O letter like scribble and incorporate it into the design whether it be traditional art, computer graphic images, or any other media chosen. As long as you can identify the scribble within the image, you were good to go. . This project helped free some artisitc context and develope an interesting composition. In essence it took something simple and made it complex and detailed. . The glass display is a set of four layers of 1/8" clear glass (one was a clear semi-anitque stained glass pane I used to add some texture to the design. Each layer is stacked together in slots grooved into the wood corner brackets. The glass is able to be rearranged in different orders to vary the foreground and background. . Each piece of glass is etched on both sides of the glass. This increases the degree of depth to the art piece. Using deeper carving along with light shading add to the contrast, which again adds for impact to the viewer. . Regardless of my position in the contest, I was proud of my developed idea and completion of the project. It was a fun challenge to take the scribbles and incorporate my ideas into a finished decorative art glass that adds interest to the interior design of a room.

Simply WOW, Brian was a complete pleasure to work with because he was timely, professional and easy to communicate with. I proposed an idea and he helped me clarify it for best results in glass and now I have a beautiful piece with a logo I first drew 18 years ago. I look forward to ordering again from you ! The Pineapple etched glass was exactly what I wanted for my sofa table doors! From to start to finish all my questions were answered and I couldn't ask for an easier process and delivery . The finished product looks beautiful and I have received many compliments on the glass along with my husband's craftsmanship and design of the sofa table.
