Pete was a terrific craftsman to work with. I could not be happier with the sink he created for me. It is beautiful and it arrived in a timely fashion and was packed professionally. I highly recommend him.

Working with Concrete Pete was actually fun!
He was great communicating about the project, including which choices I had in terms of the base for my items (two dressers, one wide and one tall). He helped me learn the limits of the available materials and hardware, which provided me with the parameters with which I needed to describe the pieces before he finished designing them. He sent sketches of his designs, and I helped tweak them to fit my needs.
The project was completed much earlier than expected, which was a boon for us, since we had expected the project to take longer to build than it actually did.
When we arrived to pick them up, Pete helped us plan how to pack and load the two fairly large dressers into the back of our pickup truck.
It was a rainy morning when we arrived, so he helped us seal the items into tarpaulins and plastic shrink-wrap to make sure the they remained dry on our journey home (about 450 miles) even though the dressers rode in the bed of our open pick-up truck. He helped secure corner protectors onto the dressers and even helped to load them onto the truck with my husband.
When we arrived home, we realised that we'd lost some screws necessary to attach the base onto one of our dressers. I texted Pete, and he replied right away, telling me which screws he used and the size to buy. He also agreed to email us the directions on how to adjust the drawers of the dressers so that they lined up the way we wanted, so that all of the gaps between all of the drawer fronts were equal.
So, in addition to building us two beautiful, heirloom-quality pieces of fine furniture, Pete helped us -literally- for hours to make sure we got on our way safely with his creations. I highly recommend Concrete Pete for his professionalism, design sense and style, and timely execution of our project.

I had a good experience with Pete. He is professional and very quick to respond to questions. Although I do love the table I got, it wasn't 100% what I'd initially asked for.

We ordered a wood and epoxy river table with a brown/bronze color steel base. We paused in the middle of the job when Pete sent some progress pictures as the epoxy hadn't come out like I had hoped. We had exchanged many pictures during the planning process so I was fairly confident he knew what we wanted. The epoxy came out with this marbled effect. It looked like the epoxy wasn't stirred and had swirls in it. It is pretty, but again, not exactly what I asked for. There are also a few bubbles in the epoxy. Lastly, the top coat, what he used to seal the surface, isn't flawless. It is streaky and noticeable. There are some cracks in the welds of the steel base and the color of the base is hardly brown. It's the darkest brown ever that basically just looks black.

Pete coordinated for us to have white glove installation with a company he has used before (he's in Colorado and we are in New York). Although they ultimately did deliver the table there were some miscommunications here too. They didn't tell us that they could only deliver on a weekday, causing us to have to take off from work for the delivery. On the day of delivery, the driver called me several times. He didn't really speak English so communicating was very difficult. He kept telling us he was here but when we buzzed him into the building he never came up. I'd call him back and he would tell me something different. It took about an hour from when they said they had arrived to when the table was actually in our apartment.

All in all, we do like what we got but I'd give the whole experience a solid B+. I think things could have been done better. I will say that Pete was incredibly nice and professional the whole time but I do wish things had come out perfectly.
