Industrial Desk Lamp - Historic Beer Bottle- Faucet Switch - Iron Pipe
Own a piece of history with our unique lighting that features brewery bottles from the 19th century Pre-Prohibition era. This lamp is constructed from industrial style black iron piping. The vintage bottle is firmly secured by custom rubber gaskets that grasp the bottle without causing damage. A low wattage bulb is used to illuminate the vintage bottle producing a warm ambient light. A rotating faucet handle serves as a switch to turn the light on and off - a new feature we are excited about! Power is supplied by a retro style cloth covered lamp cord and plug. The featured brewery bottles in this listing date between 1890 - 1919. They are very heavy duty with ornate embossing (Don't make them like this anymore!) Each bottle is polished and buffed on the outside and then sandblasted on the interior in order to provide a nice even glow. Each lamp comes complete with a brief historical summary of the historic brewery! I asked him to include a dimmer switch on the lamp and he did so at no extra charge. The lamp arrived safe and sound exactly when he said it would. The lamp was thoughtfully designed, with just the right size base so that a swinging closet door cannot damage the bulb. How did he know where I was going to put that lamp?! Most importantly, the lamp lends the perfect ambiance to my office, which doubles as a guest bedroom. The lamp is so unique, and looks great in my French Country home that mixes dressy with rustic. I highly recommend it.
