Farmhouse Sideboard With Chestnut Top

Farmhouse Sideboard With Chestnut Top

$2,000

DOUBLE CLICK photo above for larger image. Our client Beth grew up in an 1800's farmhouse in Connecticut, originally settled and built by her ancestors. The front porch was made of American Chestnut, a wood no longer available because it was wiped out by the Chestnut blight in the 1930's. When the farmhouse was torn down, Beth saved the lumber from that porch. We used that Chestnut to make the top of this sideboard. It is Beth's Legacy sideboard. This sideboard has a subtle bow-front, a design detail which adds visual interest to the piece.

Exceptional design. Exceptional craftsmanship. You will be exceptionally pleased. …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
REALISTIC 3D DESIGN-DRAWINGS: The custom design process is a critical part of my services. Your project will be specifically designed for you. I love design work, and will create detailed 3D design-drawings for your review and approval. These allow you to visualize your project and to know that what you are getting is what you want. As examples, take a look at some of the drawings included with my portfolio photos. …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
CRAFTSMANSHIP: I have been doing this all my life, because I love it. As the grey beard in the photo above hints, that means decades of experience. And lot's of passion.

Artisanal custom-built pieces are a significant investment, but they grow in value and become heirlooms to be passed on to the next generation. ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
TOP QUALITY MATERIALS AND COMPONENTS:
I choose only the most appropriate and high quality materials for the function of each component. I take great pride of craftsmanship and put a lot of effort into the projects I build for you. I will never diminish my work by using cheap, low-quality alternatives. All finishes meet the KCMA (Kitchen Cabinet Makers Association) specifications for toughness, durability, and water and chemical resistance. ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
