This is a 14" wedding cake stand that I make in various sizes, colors, and variations of moldings. I make these out of poplar and other solidwood materials. The stand itself is actually a keep sake box and the newly-weds use them as a keepsake box later to store all of their cards and photos from the important day. It is a very strong and sturdy stand that can hold a very heavy cake. Although this was intended for a wedding I can make these in any size, color, or style to suit the needs of a customer.

I am a maker at heart but woodwork has always been my trade. I've worked professionally for several years in high end residential millwork, cabinetry, furniture, and interiors. Having my own shop and business now, I tend to stick to smaller projects and have shifted to do a lot of projects with my CNC router, whether it be signs, custom parts, or wood stands and crafts. I have strayed from building larger projects such as full kitchens or libraries and build one off furniture pieces that I can handle in my smaller shop.
