The Treasure Walking Stick
This incredible walking stick has some of the most memorable quotes from the great Humphrey Bogart Movie The Treasure of Sierra Madre. The quotes that I hand-carved onto the one inch oak shaft are: "Can you help a fellow American down on his luck?" "Ah, as long as there's no find, the noble brotherhood will last but when the piles of gold begin to grow… that's when the trouble starts." "I know what gold does to men's souls." "I think I'll go to sleep and dream about piles of gold getting bigger and bigger and bigger." "Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. I don't have to show you any stinking badges!" But like people, its what's inside that counts and inside this amazing walking stick are: 10 Carets of raw diamonds legally mined from the African Congo, 1 Gram of gold nuggets that were panned from the Yukon Territory, and 5 One Gram silver ingot rounds (The Prospector) See photo below. The gold nuggets are in a glass vial that can be removed and worn as a necklace if desired. The handle is gold colored brass with a wooden pattern. Very comfortable in the hand.
