This is the second cane I've had made by Mr. Altom...great craftsmanship, great communication, just a great experience. Professional in all aspects and pays attention to every detail of the project.

Absolutely love the beauty and quality of the walking stick! Every expectation was not only met, but exceeded.

Loved it, was a big hit! Would definitely work with him again !

My father-in-law's birthday was fastly approaching and I felt as if I couldn't come up with gift idea that was equally beautiful and useful. Until I stumbled upon Micheal's work. I got lucky! Not only is his work truly stunning, you have the option to pick a "quote" that has meaning to you or to whomever is receiving the gift. How thoughtful is that?! I knew I finally found the perfect gift. Michael was very responsive and timely and just an overall joy to work with.

FedEx delivered item to the wrong address even though address on the box was correct. As for the project, cane turned out great. Communication with Mr. Altom was excellent, with us thinking along the same lines when it came to cane stick engravings/carvings. Very professional and optimistic attitude whenever we communicated. Mr Altom did a perfect job of capturing my design and gave it a nice gothic steampunk look to it . SHEER ELEGANCE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, all around great guy. He helped me out with a project in a field I know nothing about and was very understanding of my poor communication. He finished the project early and shipped our canes out across the country individually bubble wrapped. Can't hope for much more in a person than that.

I wanted to get a hand-made walking cane for my husband's birthday. My daughter suggested that it have an elephant head on it as a tribute to my husband's days in India. Michael enthusiastically agreed to the project. He kept me abreast of the progress every step of the way - emailing and sending sketches and photos. My husband loves it! The only complaint - and this isn't Michael's fault per se - is that it took a while to arrive once shipped and I wasn't able to track it after it left California. But it made it and we're very pleased.

We bought a second walking stick for another grandfather (my Popa) and he absolutely loves it! Perfect height & name carvings are beautiful :) He is so excited to bring it to church & show off to all of his friends! Thank you so much for creating the best Christmas gift for him! Cheers!

I am MORE than happy with my walking sticks. Michael is so very talented. I ordered one for hiking and one for everyday use. Both have mermaids sitting on them. They are beautiful and very much worth the price. Michael communicated very professionally and timely regarding the project and delivered when he promised. I will definitely work with him again.
