A Cedar log cut in half and mounted to sit on the top of a mantle piece. It is over 5 feet long and every item on it is hand carved using a high speed, modified dental drill. What's on it? They are beautiful and very much worth the price. Michael communicated very professionally and timely regarding the project and delivered when he promised. I will definitely work with him again. I am so impressed!

Apr 26, 2013Working with Michael Altom has been thee best! From start to finish he walked me through better ideas and kept me updated with every move. A real gentleman. He gave me just what I wanted and more! I just cant believe it. My friend has ALS and has a very difficult time walking and so I asked Michael to carve my friends life accomplishment on a walking stick or cane. He loves to hunt, fish, snowmobile, go four wheeling and loves his family! Michael expressed all of that for me in the most unique way imaginable! A real Artisan!! He was quick and the quality was great; he even made a sample and photographed it before making the rest. I asked him to make a change before proceeding, and it wasn't a problem at all.
