This piece is meant to represent a mother eagle taking her off-spring out for its first flight. Although eagles don't generally get their "bald head" until they are 3-years old, I took artistic liberties and gave the young eagle its bald head. I retired from the USAF after 28 years and now I make canes, walking sticks, jewelry and art pieces full time. The Quotable Walking Stick is a concept that I started.
