I wanted to create something different this time so when I found these two Replicas of General George Washington's Flintlock Hawkins pistols I knew I had found what I wanted. The pistols are all metal and wood but are non-firing. You can still cock the hammer and pull the trigger if you wish but they can never be made to fire. Still, having a pair of Dueling Canes is very unique and they feel great in your hand. The shaft is American Black Walnut which matches the wood in the pistols very well.

I retired from the USAF after 28 years and now I make canes, walking sticks, jewelry and art pieces full time. The Quotable Walking Stick is a concept that I started. I find rare, unusual, and/or antique items to make into walking stick handles. Then I find an appropriate quote from literature, movies, music or elsewhere that I feel compliments the user.
