Video Game Themed Knife
Based off a favorite video game, this knife was an upgraded real world replica. Wrought iron recycled from wagon wheels and 15n20 outer layers, Cruforge core with 15n20 shims. Handle is leftover G10 and red spacers. The game was Japanese, and although it has a somewhat fantastical flair, it is still considered a utility knife for harvesting and bushcraft. This knife performed very well in testing; chopping wood, slaying monsters, yet still shaving arm hair.

Born and raised in the city, I am a New Yorker to the core. I’ve seen this island at its worst and made it through in one piece; so it’s reasonable to say I would like to continue living and working in an urban environment for years to come. In the past I have freelanced as a 3D computer artist and animator, ironwork designer, and product designer/developer. Today I am a full time teacher and bladesmith.
2017 I won Forged In Fire (a competition knife and sword making show on the History channel) twice, becoming the third Forged In Fire champion of champions. The winnings from the show allowed me to grow my tiny shop into a small school, and 2019 we moved into Industry City to grow the school and add the storefront.
