Damascus Folding Knife
3D printed cast bronze handle with integral lock. Blade is forged W2 high carbon steel twisted with pure nickle, and wrought iron spine. Cocobolo hardwood insert with brass pin. This patent-pending design is a solid bronze chassis with built-in locking mechanism, rendering it remarkably strong at a practical weight. The standard high carbon steel blade would be differentially hardened W2 steel acid etched to reveal the hamon. For an additional $25 it can be mirror-polished. For an additional $400 the blade can be hand-forged damascus (as pictured in the photos). And lastly, for an additional $800 the blade can be forged from octahedrite meteoric iron (a meteorite) with high carbon steel. Wood option pictured is cocobolo

Theo Rock Nazz
Born and raised in the city, I am a New Yorker to the core. I’ve seen this island at its worst and made it through in one piece; so it’s reasonable to say I would like to continue living and working in an urban environment for years to come. In the past I have freelanced as a 3D computer artist and animator, ironwork designer, and product designer/developer. Today I am a full time teacher and bladesmith.
2017 I won Forged In Fire (a competition knife and sword making show on the History channel) twice, becoming the third Forged In Fire champion of champions. The winnings from the show allowed me to grow my tiny shop into a small school, and 2019 we moved into Industry City to grow the school and add the storefront.

Jun 13, 2013This was such a great project. I have a couple just got married and they love cooking. I thought a custom kitchen knife would be great. What i loved about buying this was that i felt like i was part of the process. I saw the forging, could ask questions about how the process worked etc. Also- Need to mention that the picture does not do this justice. This is just beautiful! Thanks!

Feb 12, 2016My knife came out amazing. The blade came out looking like the work of art that it is and yet it still keeps all of the strength and utility that any knife should have. Theo really worked with me on the design process to ensure my idea came through and he constantly gave me updates. 11/10 and I will definitely be working with him again.
